A Hopeless Motive

Hey guys, well last tuesday August 31st we were added to play with the havoc at the last minute and it was quite fun we werent exactly ready but we still had fun and we think we did pretty well for not being prepared. but The Havoc are really cool guys if you ever get the chance to meet them take it!

Hey guys whats going on? There's been some changes in the band including our old bassist Fatt Jeff is back, we were having problems with trey so he had to leave, but he will be there as back up if we need him, also we have new songs coming up and we have edited some songs as well. September 14th we have a show at Micheal Bob's in Norfolk with The Monumentals, The Tragedies, and more. Now that thats all been said Fatt Jeff would like to say a few words...."Hey people, its been a long while even though the old AHM didn't play that much shows. look i want to thank the rest of the band for asking me back, i was kind of missing the whole "i'm in a band" pick up line. but hey it can be done now. I would also like to thank people who support AHM underlining: stfo people, dannielle, The Tragedies, The Monumentals, and anyone else who i can't think of right now...peace, love, and ressin grease(not implying anything). oh yeah and if "Kelso" from ODJCC is reading this:" your an EMO kid,get over it and FUCK YOU! from AHM" Fatt Jeff

Ok, July 10th we have a pretty big and importnat show going on in Nags Head!!! We are playing the battle of the bands at neptunes bar and grill in Kill Devil Hills, NC. We are playing against The Monumentals, The Tragedies, Fujiwara, Be A You, and many more.... we really hate to say playing against because really we dont care who wins or loses we're just trying to go to Nags Head with our friends and have a hell-of-a-good time. But seriously it would be much appreciated if people would come out and support us.

Sorry the site hasnt been updated in a while. We've all been pretty busy, its summer time lonnie is working alot, sam and trey .....who knows where they are and i havebeen looking for a job, we are also trying to get this record label going with The Tragedies and The Monumentals. so as you can see like i said we ar epretty busy. Keep checking in for updates we should have some stuff up here sooner or later.

Ok so weve got some stuff on the way. We got 2 new songs that were writing, we are soon going to record a demo for the website, and were kind of starting up our own little do it yourself record label with The Tragedies. WE HAVE A SHOW!! its May 30th at Fuji's Japanese Restaurant check out the rest of the info on the shows page.

So the Fuji's show awhile ago went pretty well we got alot of support from our local hardcore scene and we got a pretty brutal moshipt going. Our friend Travis chipped his tooth in the pit and our other friend Jeff gave a guy a black eye by punchin him and then Jd (another friend of ours) got a black eye by gettin head butted in the face. so it was quite fun. We are trying to set up some shows with the monuemntals and the tragedies sometime soon, but its going to take awhile becasue we are working on some new stuff to play and we are trying to get a record label going so we've got alot of work ahead of us.

Hey guys, the show at Fugi's is tommorow! we will be playing with A Poetic Justice, The Death Of Decadence, 66 Lines, Affter, With Out A Trace, Down Goes Frasier, Black Eye Reniassance, Jett Booth Jazz Band, Blood Quest, and Morise Code For Homicide. the doors open at 6:00 pm the show will start rooling on at 6:15 and hopefully it will be a good one alot of people are supposed to be showing up so dont miss out on this! 107 Chowan Dr. Portsmouth VA 23701 (its right off of Portsmouth Blvd.)

Well, we've pretty much got everything up on the site. We just have to do some minor touch ups, but no biggy. We have a show coming up on April 9th at Fugi's in Portsmouth. We dont have all of the info up there about the show, but as soon as i get it, i will post it up for you guys.We ar gonna be getting more pictures up here soon...Oh yeah, i forgot to mention, A Hopeless Motive, The Tragedies, and The Monumentals are trying to set up a show at the Tall Cedar Communtiy Center....If we do get it all set up it should be a pretty good show. We are going to get not a trace and maybe bogie to play with us, and that should attract a big crowd. The good thing about the show is that half of the money we make from the show will be donated to cancer research funds, and the other half we need to pay off our debts for renting out the place....But it should be pretty fuckin good!

Ok, sorry for the long ass break....Lonnies' computer broke and he's been pretty busy with work, so he doesn't have alot of time to get the site updated. So here I am (justin) updating the site. We don't really have much news for you guys, except that we are back together, we've got our old back up guiarist Trey back except this time he is on bass....oh and we've got a new drummer...his name is Sam...but he is not important so lets not talk about him..haha naw im playing he's a cool guy... a little strange, but cool, and he kicks ass at drums. I would definitely say he's up there with chuy.....watch out chuy you've got a freshman catching up to you haha. but anyways that is about it...
